Kenyan hospitals are grappling with a record of critical-care patients stretching a system that was inadequate even before the outbreak of COVID-19. Nazareth Hospital is not an exception.
Many beds and medical equipment at Nazareth Hospital are well used and over thirty years old. Especially in the surgical ward at Nazareth… patients find recovery delayed because of uncomfortable surroundings.
Through a generous grant from the Pilgrim Benefaction Fund, Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Together for Kenya was able to provide funding for 50 new beds in the hospital’s surgical ward!
What a blessing to eliminate the needless suffering of those living in extreme poverty.
