Fr. Noah graduated from Harvard College where he played fullback on the Crimson’s Ivy League champion football team and majored in English Literature. He received his Masters of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School.

The Rev. Kathleen Morrisette Bobbitt
Assisting Priest
The Rev. Kathleen Morrisette Bobbitt (Rev. Kate) and her family joined CSL when she was a teenager and her mother taught Sunday school here. Her husband, Rosser, also grew up in the parish.

The Rev. Vincent G. Connery
Assisting Priest
Fr. Vince has been a member of Christ & St. Luke’s parish since 2010. He was received in holy orders in the Episcopal Church in July, 2020, by Bishop Susan Haynes, and has since served as an assisting priest in the parish.

The Rev. Jess Stribling
Assisting Priest
The Rev. Jess Stribling has been with Christ and St. Luke’s since 2006 and is an Assisting Priest for Pastoral Care.

The Hon. Rev. Dr. Joseph N. Green, Jr.
1926-2023
Father Green was still speaking truth to power with compassion and humility until his final days in January of 2023. Christ & St. Luke’s was profoundly honored to have Fr. Green and Mrs. Evelyn Green as part of our community. As Canon Theologian and a member of our clergy staff, Fr. Green taught and guided us to be a more welcoming and inclusive church.

Kevin Kwan
Organist and Director of Music
Kevin joined the staff in October 2012. He is only the fifth person to hold the position since 1889.
A native of San Francisco, Mr. Kwan received his degrees from the University of California, San Diego and the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he studied with Todd Wilson. Upon completion of his studies, Mr. Kwan served as Organ Scholar at Gloucester Cathedral.

Marjorie Setnicky
Assistant Organist
Marj Setnicky has a background in piano performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music (preparatory department) and Music Education from Bowling Green State University. Marjorie studied piano with Francis Burnett, harpsichord with Dr. Vincent Corrigan, and organ with Dr. Allen Shaffer. She has a large piano studio as well as Musikgarten for babies and toddlers.

Kathy Hanna
Director of Family, Youth and Children’s Ministries
Ms. Katherine Hanna has been called to Christ and St. Luke’s to be our full-time Director of Family, Youth and Children’s Ministries. Kathy has been serving as Lay Chaplain at St. Anne’s Episcopal School in Middletown, Delaware and Minister to Children and Families at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Wilmington, Delaware.

Judie Belka
Director of Parish Operations
Judie Belka has worked as a Parish Admin in another parish in our area and has been a member of CSL since 2018. Judie enjoys working with Stephen Ministry and as the Stephen Leader Team coordinator at Christ & St. Luke’s. Judie has been married to Michael since 1983 and has four children ages 28 to 35.

Will Lee
Communications Director
After starting his own business, Doebank Designs, creating and managing websites for small businesses, Will took on the task of helping Christ & St. Luke’s refresh our web presence. Beginning January 2022, Will took on the fuller role of Communications Director for Christ & St. Luke’s while continuing to run Doebank Designs.

Michelle Sturges
Business Administrator
Michelle Sturges has been the bookkeeper for Christ and St. Luke’s since 2015. Michelle has over 20 years experience in bookkeeping. Her husband is currently active duty Coast Guard in Portsmouth. She has 2 boys that are 8 and 17. They enjoy staying active outdoors including camping, fishing, swimming, boating, and skiing with the family.

David Roberts
Sexton
A lifetime resident of Chesapeake, David has served as Sexton at Christ and St. Luke’s for over 25 years. He and his wife have two grown sons and David is also a basketball coach at Deep Creek High School.

Bob Reneau

Vestry
The vestry is the legal representative of the parish with regard to all matters pertaining to its corporate property. Christ and St. Luke’s has 12 Vestry members, presided by the Rector. Vestry members are usually elected at the annual parish meeting, held on the second Sunday of December each year.
