Father Vince was born in Flushing, Queens, New York, and grew up in Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii and McLean, Virginia.
He was ordained a priest in 1976, and served in parish ministry until 1987. He spent the next 30 years working in various programs providing mental health support to the military community, including CHAMPUS/TRICARE and Military OneSource, the DoD employee assistance program for active duty service members and their families.
He has been a member of Christ & St. Luke’s parish since 2010. He was received in holy orders in the Episcopal Church in July, 2020, by Bishop Susan Haynes, and has since served as an assisting priest in the parish.
He is a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College (now University), and of the School of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. He pursued graduate studies at Georgetown University, San Francisco Theological Seminary and the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, California, and St. Mary’s Seminary & University, Baltimore, Maryland.
