General Guidelines for Christ & St. Luke’s Playground Use
Age Range
- The playground is designed for use by children aged 3-5.
Restricted Times
- The playground cannot be used between 7:15 AM – 6:00 PM on school days. It is reserved for TWS use during this time, even if they are not actively using the playground.
Active Adult Supervision is Essential
- A parent/guardian should always be present and actively supervising their own children on the playground. Never leave a child unattended.
- Church Staff are not able to provide supervision to children on the playground.
- Adults not directly responsible for supervising a child using the playground should not be inside the playground fence.
Use of Equipment
- Please use the equipment (moveable and permanent) in the manner in which it is intended.
- Do not climb on anything other than the in-ground slide and climbing gym.
- Please don’t open or close the sun umbrellas.
Shared Use
- Remember that the playground is shared with The Williams School (TWS). Many of the items on the playground are designed for use as an outdoor classroom rather than a traditional playground. Help us keep this space in nice working order.
Toys & Equipment
- There is a designated Christ & St. Luke’s box of playground toys and equipment which all are welcome to use. Please ensure this equipment is returned properly after play.
- NOTE: Please refrain from using the equipment in the designated TWS box. This box should be locked. Please alert a Christ & St. Luke’s staff member if it is not.
Risk
- Use of the Playground is entirely at your own risk.
