The treatment of HIV/AIDS with medication is called antiretroviral therapy (ART) and is recommended for everyone who is HIV+. The medicine does not cure HIV infections but it does make it a manageable chronic condition.

Although ART therapy can be very routine for children and their caregivers they are often challenged to maintain a daily treatment schedule and experience “treatment fatigue.” Together for Kenya has discovered that a simple plastic pill organizer is a wonderful medical tool… but unfortunately not available in Kenya.

Christ and St Lukes members have donated hundreds of organizers over the past years and they have now been implemented into the successful treatment of over 200 children.

Thank you for these life saving gifts!
