Dear Christ & St. Luke’s Family,
I am writing to share some joyful news with you.
The Rev. David Duprey, who has served as adjunct clergy for Christ & St. Luke’s since 2012 and has endeared himself to all of us as loving pastor, joyful celebrant, creative preacher and passionate man of faith, has been named as one of two finalists for Bishop of his home diocese of Wyoming. Needless to say, I think you will agree that Fr. Dave will make a superb Bishop and chief pastor. He is an extraordinarily gifted priest who has given so much of himself to us over the years, as he has to his shipmates. Personally, he is a dear friend and brother.
Our love and prayers go with Fr. Dave and the good people of the Diocese of Wyoming as they continue their mutual discernment. The election will take place in September.
