Learn how Together for Kenya is helping to reduce the impact of HIV among Kenyan teens.

The majority of children living with HIV are infected via mother-to-child (MTCT) during pregnancy, child birth and or breast feeding. A child with HIV has the right to attend school.

HFC at Nazareth Hospital has developed an excellent program to reach and educate HIV+ youth through social groups, media and peer outreach.

Recently HFC reported 22 beneficiaries of the Together for Kenya scholarship program remained in school and have achieved a viral suppression rate of 91%.

Education and social structure has certainly helped these children develop self esteem that has improved their health outcome.

Congratulations to these 22 scholars… we are honored to have helped!
