Children make up nearly half of Kenya’s population, but they suffer from the highest mortality of any group. About one in ten children die before they reach the age of five, mostly from preventable illnesses such as pneumonia, diarrhea, HIV, malaria and neonatal complications.Together for Kenya is working hard with Nazareth Hospital to change that. Children in the Nazareth area now have access to Outpatient treatment. Monthly, 12 children seek and receive Outpatient care and treatment.
