We celebrate our new chamber organ with an organ concerto of Handel and Bach Cantata 82 with bass soloist John Irving and the New Commonwealth Quartet.
The Annual Allen Shaffer Concert featuring music from the United Kingdom. Melinda Van Niel sings songs of Britten and Howells, Jeff Phelps and Stephen Coxe perform Britten’s Cello Sonata, and Scott Crissman and the New Commonwealth Quartet perform Ralph Vaughan Williams song cycle On Wenlock Edge.
The Botetourt Chamber Singers are William & Mary’s premier chamber choral ensemble under the direction of Dr. Michelle Kwok, performing both sacred and secular music from Bach, Rheinberger, Gibbs, and more.
Our special Holy Week offering includes this ancient service of shadows, or darkness, on the afternoon of Palm Sunday.
Featuring the Collegium Musicum early music ensemble from Old Dominion University led by Dr. Bianca Hall.

The Choirs of St. Paul’s, St. Andrew’s, and Christ & St. Luke’s join forces to celebrate the feast of the Ascension, 40 days after Easter when Jesus was lifted up into heaven! This service will take place at St. Paul’s Church, 201 St. Paul’s Blvd, downtown Norfolk.
Our final Midday music of the season showcases the New Commonwealth String Quartet, comprising of violinists Elizabeth Coulter Vonderheide and Jonathan Richards, violist Matthew Umlauf, and cellist Elizabeth Richards.
