This month, we will begin reading Pema Chodron’s The Wisdom of No Escape and the Path of Loving-Kindness. Joan Atkinson recommended this one to us. It is deliciously dense! Enjoy taking small sips. It is definitely not one to be swallowed in one gulp. We’ll discuss the first 9 “chapters” in September and will finish it in October. As the preface states… the talks in this book were given during a one-month practice period (dathun – read retreat) in the spring of 1989. Showing us that some wisdom and instruction don’t age!
