A new monthly Queer Theology Book Club will begin on Monday, October 16 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., in the parish house gold room. It will be a parishioner-led group reading books to explore Queer Theology more deeply. We will begin with Radical Love by The Rev. Dr. Patrick S. Cheng, who recently taught a workshop here. Each book will be studied over several sessions to allow plenty of time for deeper reading and deeper conversation. We will explore how members of the LGBTQIA+ community are not just accepted in the Episcopal Church and are fully embraced in God’s love, but also how the queer perspective enriches theology and our community. All LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies are welcome.
The first meeting will focus on Chapters 1 & 2 of Radical Love, and scanned copies of those initial chapters can be provided. For more information, and to express your interest, please contact AJ Nolan at ude.udo@nalona.
