During this service, we experience Jesus’ last meal with his disciples. He washes their feet and breaks bread. Most importantly, he tells them to love one another as he has loved them. After the festive vibe of Palm Sunday, this service gives us an opportunity to enter into a quiet moment with Jesus and his friends. We will also wash feet as an example of our servanthood. We strip the altar and leave in silence to prepare for the somberness of Good Friday.
