This service of light and darkness, storytelling, song, baptism and the first Eucharist of Easter is a favorite, and this year, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt in the Lychgate Garden afterwards. Beginning with the lighting of the Paschal Candle, we enter the church in darkness. The liturgy continues with 3 interactive stories chronicling the history of salvation. Then we will have baptism and enter into the light of the Easter season with Eucharist. Seems long, but it is only about an hour.
