Membership

At Christ & St. Luke’s “membership” takes many forms. The most important thing to know is that by coming, participating, giving of yourself and your resources to support this community you may consider yourself a full participant of it.

Official membership can be achieved in one of the following ways:

• If you were a member of another Episcopal church, please let the office know and we will submit paperwork for a transfer.
• If you have been baptized in another denomination, please let us know when and where and we will add you as a baptized member.
• If you have not been baptized, please talk to us about baptism. While we often baptize babies or young children, it is also common to baptize adults.
• Certain church ministries such as serving on the Vestry or becoming a Eucharistic Minister require you to become a confirmed member. This is also required to vote in parish elections. Confirmation happens once a year when the Bishop visits our parish. If you are interested in Confirmation, please let us know and we can explain that process.

Most of all, know that here at Christ & St. Luke’s, whoever you are and whatever your membership status, YOU BELONG.
