Women of Wisdom (WOW) is a group of women who began gathering monthly in 2018, for fellowship and to read a book together. WOW is not “just another book club.” We experience a lovely community of women who enjoy being together, to know and be known, to love and be loved.

WOW will meet again on Tuesday, December 12, 3-5 pm, hopefully back at CSL.

We’ll be practicing lectio divina together when we meet in December. Think of this like a guided meditation! I’ll read from Luke 1, and prompt you with questions, with space and silence to reflect on what we’ve just heard. No preparation required; come ready and open to hear and receive a personal message as we listen to Gabriel’s annunciation to Mary. Bring a journal if you’d like.

Looking ahead, WOW is sponsoring a silent auction on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the coffee hour right after the 10:15 am worship service. We will be raising money to help support a youth mentoring project, part of CSL’s Together for Kenya ministry.
