Most parents in the Kiambu area of Nairobi are in a cycle of poverty and struggle to find available healthcare for their children. Education is often disrupted by children too ill to attend school.

In the past several years Together for Kenya has helped over 235 children obtain quality Outpatient medical care at Nazareth Hospital.

Meet John a four year old in class one at the Allamano School. John loves learning to write in school and listening to stories. John was diagnosed with a genetic urological condition… requiring surgery. Surgeons and medical staff at Nazareth were able to help John because of the Together for Kenya OPD program.

Hospital staff and John’s family recently responded…”we thank God and our Virginia friends for their support…John is anxious to go back to school!”
