Stephen ministry logoStephen Ministry equips lay people to provide one-to-one Christian care to people in our congregation and community who are experience difficulties in their lives – including divorce, unemployment, loss, relocation, birth, illness, or many other life changes that we all experience.

Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation who receive 50+ hours of training. They meet faithfully each week to pray, listen, care, support, and encourage their care receiver. The identity of those receiving care, and anything that is shared, remains confidential.

On May 6, we will commission two new Stephen Leaders, Rebecca Rose and Brian Crouch, at the Sunday services. Stephen Minister training will begin this Fall. Plan to attend the Adult Forum at 9:15 on May 13 to learn more about this exciting ministry. Contact the church office for more information.
