DESCRIPTION:The Christmas Pageant is one of the most special times of the year. It’s a unique and cherished opportunity for our children to step into and retell the greatest love story ever known. Watching them live into being a part of our history\, embodying the roles of shepherds\, angels\, and even a live baby Jesus\, is  moving and brings the story to life. \nThere’s a moment\, usually around the fourth rehearsal\, when I look out and see those children\, and it hits me: “Wait\, those really are shepherds over there. Those are really angels. Look at Mary!” \nIn those instances\, it’s not just a play; it’s a profound experience that reminds us all of the meaning of Christmas. \nThe pageant is more than just a performance; it’s a vital part of our community\, a tradition that brings generations together and allows us to experience the timeless narrative of Christ’s birth through the innocent and joyful eyes of our youngest members. It’s a beautiful way to connect with our faith and with each other.

DESCRIPTION:This group was begun by parishioners who wanted to make deeper connections with other members of their church family who are passing through the middle decades of life. The purpose is to spend time and communion together\, once a month\, and discuss relevant topics\, share mutual interests and experiences\, and grow in fellowship and faith through casual\, lively conversations. So if you have aged out of our wonderful “Pub Club” group for people in their 20’s and 30’s but are still hungry to connect with people\, join us! We will meet on the third Tuesday each month from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Green Onion at 1603 Colley Avenue\, Norfolk. Food and drink available for purchase. We typically meet every other Tuesday evening for Pub Theology Club at a local pub. \nPub Theology Club is a community of respect where young adults can explore questions about humanity and the divine without fear and without judgment. \nSometimes we listen to a podcast or read a book and discuss it. Sometimes we ask questions about life and faith. Sometimes we just share what’s on our minds and love and support one another on our unique journeys. \nWant to join us?
